Hydorgen Annealing Furnace
(Model : NRTC/HAF-03C)





Annealing furnace – NRTC/HAF-03C. Patent no. 1290/DEL/99.An efficient, safe and cost effective furnace for carrying out materials processing in reducing environment like hydrogen or cracked ammonia (N2=25%, H2=75%) for special heat treatment applications has been designed and developed by NRTC. NRTC has developed an incredible furnace capable of using explosive gas like hydrogen or cracked ammonia in material processing. The furnace is capable of being used up to 1200 degree Celcius in reduced atmosphere. This furnace is best substitution against the imported one available in international markets with very high cost.

Arrangements for fast cooling



The material used for construction has been selected based on the effect of hydrogen atmosphere at elevated temperature. The bottom base of the furnace holds entire load of the super structure including that of material which is to be processed, heating elements, thermocouple, in-let / out-let for gas and bottom sealed chamber provided for protection of heating elements.The entire furnace is designed with double dome arrangement for fast heating and cooling option to go upto a maximum temperature of 1200 degree celcius. The total weight of the furnace is approximately 350kgs with the dome weighing about 150kgs.

Precision Temperature Calibration System


To meet with ISO requirements and to cater the growing demand of periodical calibration, a cost effective temperature calibration system is the utmost need of the industries. Here is the revelation of R&D by NRTC in form of ‘NaRTeC–PTCS’ Model ‘MTR-099’ for in-house temperature calibration.

High Temperature Calibration System
(1000-1500 degrees)


NRTC has designed a High Temperature Calibration System for inhouse calibration of high temperature furnances. The higher range requires a major exercise of furnace design as the ceramic based technology comes into effect in this temperature range since most of the practical metals do not sustain at these higher temperatures.
