Centre For Analysis Calibration & Testing (C-ACT)

Facility for magnetic measurements of soft magnetic materials

With the fast growing demand of time for quality consciousness among the industries and to cater such need for ISO 9000 quality system certification, NRTC has set up a standardizing service center – “Center for Analysis, Calibration & Testing (C-ACT)”. The center is being conceived as a service institution for industries to provide necessary facilities for material testing and analysis, calibration for process control instruments as per national/international standards. This unique concept of umbrella services under consortium approach of NRTC is a part of that. Under the umbrella services, NRTC has established MoUs with some institutions of repute that are facilitated with sophisticated instruments and have standard calibration, analysis and testing facilities. Based on the fact that, it is never possible to have all such requirements of calibration, analysis and testing for industries being fulfilled by one single institution under one roof, the initiative to take the unified benefits under one common system of services should be taken. The following calibration and testing/analysis services are provided by NRTC:

Temperature Calibration:
  • Temperature sensors(Thermocouples, PRT, RTD etc.) calibration up to 1000 C
        (will be available upto 1500C shortly)
